The OUR staff consists of:
Interim Director - Dr. Jan Rychtář
Since joining UNCG in 2004, Dr. Jan Rychtář began working with undergraduate students. This relationship has eventually become an integral part of his research program. However, it could not happen without the Office of Undergraduate Research and its former Director, Mary Crowe in particular. As the Interim Director, Dr. Rychtář states his priority is to create a smooth transition to the next Director, to make sure faculty maintain their efforts and work with students, to lose no momentum, and to ensure that the work OUR has put in promoting undergraduate research will continue to pay its dividends.

Research Programs Administrator - Adrienne Middlebrooks
Ms. Middlebrooks is a life-long resident of Guilford County and a Joseph M. Bryan School of Business and Economics alum. Her career at the university began in research as a staff assistant on the Race and Slavery Petitions Project in 1996. In 2010, she earned a MA in Liberal Studies with a Certificate in Global Studies.
